Temporary Storage Glitch at Flickr

Click my picture to see other entries in the contest.

OK, so flickr's tubes are clogged, and it's taking a long time to move a bunch of files. Flickr's employees remind me of my colleagues--elementary teachers. It's an unusual day when the lesson plans are followed exactly. Elementary teachers are known to be flexible. They come up with alternative activities in a moment's notice.
When flickr went down, I was in the process of uploading vacation pics (I'm only behind on about 3 trips-- :), but when I saw their message to print out the 2 circles (like the icon for flickr) and color it to enter into a contest, I thought, "Why not?" Of course, I really had some editing to do on the many photos yet to be uploaded, but I printed out the sheet. Then.....a problem....I don't have any creativity or coloring materials. I dug around in a drawer in my office and found a red paint pen ( can't remember why I purchased it), 5 metallic pens (can't remember why I purchased them), a pencil that actually had a point, and a pen with blue ink. This is my creation--nothing all that good, but I'm being a team player. Our flickr community sticks together even when the tubes are clogged. I pray they are unclogged soon.

Web Site is Complete

Four of the five team members celebrated the completion of the writing of their educational web site.
They decorated the classroom, wrote speeches, gave out diplomas, and gifts. Each one had a star crown and threw it up in the air at the end of the ceremony. It was followed by a party of eating chips, dip, lemon bars, cake, and sweet tea and cola. They watched cartoons, sang, and danced. Last they threw balloons up in the air.

Learn about Peaches, Pecans, Strawberries, Blackberries, Peanuts

A good website to learn information about peaches, pecans, and strawberries in Georgia.

The website for "Southern Grace Farms" in Berrien County tells about strawberries and blackberries, and peanuts.

These Elliott Pecan Halves were most likely grown in Berrien County since they were purchased at Register's Pecans in Ray City, Georgia.

Read information about pecans.
